Copper Jewelry
As with any pure copper item, the surface will begin to patina with exposure to liquids and chemicals. We apply a thin layer of protective coating on all our copper pieces to slow the rate of tarnishing. Although you can’t 100% prevent tarnishing on copper jewelry, you can significantly delay it by maintaining the protective coating.
Storing Your Copper Jewelry: When not in use, store your bracelet in an airtight bag or jewelry box lined with anti-tarnish fabric. Ensure your copper is clean and moisture-free before storing.
Cleaning Your Copper Jewelry: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the bracelet gently. This removes sweat, dirt, and oils that may accumulate during daily wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, including water, lotions, or perfumes.
Dealing with Patina: Mix equal parts lemon juice and baking soda to form a paste. Apply the paste using a soft cloth, gently rubbing to remove tarnish. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely.
Over time, copper may develop a natural patina—a greenish hue. Many people enjoy the vintage look.
Stainless Steel & Titanium Jewelry
Stainless steel is a durable material that requires minimal care. Follow these tips to keep your bracelet looking its best:
Cleaning Your Stainless Steel Bracelet: Wipe the bracelet with a lint-free cloth to remove smudges and fingerprints.
Avoiding Chemical Exposure: Although stainless steel is resistant to tarnish, avoid exposure to chlorine, bleach, and other harsh chemicals, as they can dull the finish.
